We get it. A new church can be intimidating! Let us reassure you.

We understand because we've all been there. We hope this page helps you know what to expect and to prepare for your visit to Prevailing Life Church.

First, just know there is no pressure from us to perform. Be yourself! You will find many types of people from all walks of life at Prevailing Life. Some of us are bold and talkative, and some of us are reserved, but warm.

Whether you are new to your faith, or whether you are a longtime follower of Jesus - you belong here!

Planning Your Visit?

Here’s what a service looks like at Prevailing Life!

When you arrive, you will see friendly faces to welcome you in, offer you coffee and refreshments, and give you a gift. Part of our Core Mission is to love people, and community is a vital part of the worship experience.

We will have a five minute countdown to allow everyone to find their seats and get adjusted, which will also include information about our church. We will start with heartfelt and vibrant worship songs, with lyrics displayed on the screen. Many will sing and clap along, but you're welcome to participate at the level you are comfortable.

There may be announcements and times of prayer at various parts of the service. We will invite people to sit or stand during those times. We will let you know and won't leave you hanging. If you aren't comfortable standing, we understand.

Our pastor or another minister will give a practical Bible-based message. The teaching or preaching will be heartfelt, challenging, practical, and intended to help people know God and live out their faith in their daily lives. Some people may show verbal agreement with the message or even clap in agreement. Don't feel obligated to participate as such.

Everything at Prevailing Life Church is designed to help people Know God, Love People, Live Purposefully, and Serve passionately - which is our mission. It is our goal to help awaken new passion and purpose in you and your faith in God.

  • Sundays at 3:00 PM and Thursdays at 7:00 PM

  • Our worship services usually last between 60 and 75 minutes.

  • Please do! Bring friends and family.

  • We do have a stocked nursery. During worship/music it is self-serve. Members of our dream team are available to serve during the message portion of the service.


  • We LOVE children and youth and view them as vital members of our church family. You will often see them participating in many ways at Awaken.

    We encourage children to participate in the worship part of the service and dismiss for class during the preaching portion of the service. Register your student at the Awaken Kids Kiosk (signs will lead you there).

  • There is a large parking lot with ample parking at the front of the building.
